Activity of a health resort in this cosy district of Świeradów-Zdrój begin in the 19th century. Until 1973 it was an independent spa, created from a settlement of Czech religious exiles established in the 17th century. Since 1969, curative mineral water “Czerniawianka” has been bottled here. According to scientific research, the water purifies the body from heavy metals and reduces blood sugar level.
Using its natural resources of mineral waters and exceptional microclimate, the place was serving mainly for ill children. At the moment, the part of “Świeradów-Czerniawa” health resort is also opening for treatment of adult affections.
