The Karkonoska pass

The Karkonoska pass lies at 1,198 m a.s.l. It is possible to begin an ascent in the village of Borowice (42 km from Świeradów) or the village of Przesieka (38 km from Świeradów). The pass can also be reached from the Czech side by bus from Špindlerův Mlýn (80 km), which runs every hour (ticket: CZK 40). At the summit are the Polish refuge Odrodzenie and Czech mountain hotel Špindlerova Bouda.
