Jelenia Góra

Jelenia Góra is the capital of the region. A chief attraction is located in the district of Cieplice-Zdrój, namely the thermal mineral waters. Other interesting historical sites are the Sts. Erasmus and Pancras Church (dating from the 14th century; in Polish: Kościół Erazma i Pankracego), the Holy Cross Church (in Polish: Kościół Krzyża Świętego), which is one of the Churches of Mercy (dating from the 18th century), the market place with its arcades, the Karkonosze Museum and scenic flights over the Jelenia Góra Valley.
