- Dinopark in Szklarska Poręba
Arranged among rocks and hills in a forest of a surface area equivalent to 15 football pitches are a dozen life-sized dinosaurs, presenting 500 million years of the history of the Earth. Szklarska Poręba is a town situated on the fringes of the eastern Izerskie Mts. and western Karkonosze Mts. Its main attractions are Mt. Szrenica, the Snowy Cirques in Karkonosze National Park, Chybotek rock complex, the Curve of Death, the Earth Museum, the Museum of Mineralogy, the Szklarka and Kamieńczyk waterfalls and the museum to the Nobel prize-winning writer Gerhart Hauptmann and his brother Carl. Glassmaking traditions are continued by the Forest Glassworks (in Polish: Leśna Huta). Distance: 22 km.

The family amusement park Esplanada offers a gravitational slide. It provides a 700 m-long ride with a speed of 40 km/h and a view of the Karkonosze Mts. Opening hours: in summer, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.; from autumn to spring, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tickets: PLN 8. Distance: 22 km.
