Proszówka - Gryf Castle
Constructed in the mid-13th century by a duke, Konrad I of Głogów, this castle became in 1419 the property of the Schaffgotsch family. In 1635 its owner was accused of a plot against the emperor and beheaded, while in 1687 it played host to Marysieńka Sobieska, wife of John III Sobieski. Today only ruins remain. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tickets: PLN 11-15. Distance: 18 km.
